1 Main structure and working principle
The rotating plate of pin mill is fixed on the lower part of driving spindle that placed vertically. The main motor, which is mounted vertically, drives the spindle to rotate at high speed through narrow belt. Rotating body and main motor are supported on the frame. The higher and the lower main bearings are lubricated by filling pressure oil. The pin mill is provided with the special electric control-box and the complete protective device against overload.
Under the driving of the main motor, the rotating plate runs at high speed. The thick pulp is fed into the center of the rotating plate from the left and the right sides. The thin pulp under the action of great centrifugal force spread quickly out to the outer periphery; strongly stricken by impacting many times. And so linking starch is separated from fibre peel. Because the fibre bears smaller shearing stress, it is not over broken during impacting and most of it exists in the form of thin slice. The thick pulp that has been treated is discharged from the taper hopper. The fibre among the discharged pulp remains a high rate of coarse and fine particle.
